Free scans for nonprofits and open source

If you are a nonprofit or an open-source project on AWS, we will scan unused resources for free and send one digest across the accounts you connect. Apply. We review. Weekly, not unlimited.

Per-account scan alerts stay on email and Slack. The management report is the org picture: spend, waste, and this week's actions, with an optional Telegram Channel.

  • ·Registered nonprofit, charity, or association (any country, with a public registry URL)
  • ·Public open-source project: OSI-licensed repo, GitHub or GitLab org, AWS used to run that project
  • ·Student clubs and a single research account can apply under the same cap

  • ·VC-backed companies, agencies, and open-core commercial vendors
  • ·A university's entire central IT org
  • ·A checkbox with no proof

  • ·Navi
  • ·Microsoft Teams, SNS, or daily schedules as a default
  • ·A Marketplace SKU or unlimited accounts

Grants are reviewed by hand and renewed once a year. If you outgrow the cap, buy a paid plan on AWS Marketplace like everyone else.

// How to apply
  1. Sign up on Individual if you do not have an account yet. Connect at least one read-only role.
  2. Open the contact form. Write Community grant and include your charity registry URL or public GitHub/GitLab org plus license file.
  3. We reply from support@unusd.cloud. After a grant, turn on the management report in Settings.
